As temperatures went up in May, members of our St. Louis community continued to show up and gave a total of $5,227.75! When the community comes together, that is when real change can occur.
Thanks for doing your part by giving with Givable!
New Givable Branding:
After talking with some of our givers and others in the community, we recognized that the symbol in our logo was not reflective of what we are trying to accomplish. Thanks to help from Michael Kilfoy at Studio X, we have updated our logo to better reflect what our giving community does for St. Louis.
Keep on the lookout over the next month for the updated logo on our website, emails, and social media sites.
In May, our community supported work, such as:
We gave to Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis, furthering their ability
to help families living in substandard rental housing build and purchase a home they can afford to maintain.
Last year, more than 48,000 dogs and cats entered shelters in St. Louis and surrounding counties. We supported the efforts of Animal House Cat Rescue and Adoption Center in finding homes for these animals.
The Open Space Council is dedicated to land and water conservation in the St. Louis Region. We gave and supported their work in
finding natural resources and restoring the wildlife habitat in the area.
We launched Givable Tuesdays in May — a partnership with
area restaurants, which is broadening our reach in the St. Louis community. Thanks to Stacked STL, our inaugural partner!
If a patron of a partner restaurant signs up for Givable while dining, they receive a coupon for $8 off a future meal.
