Get Out & Be Givable
- Celebrate the winter season at the Loop Ice Carnival in University City. This family friendly event heats up with dozens of great activities like game booths, a temporary tattoo scavenger hunt, ice slides, ice carving demonstrations and more.
- Make sure to check out the Kehinde Wiley exhibit at the St. Louis Art Museum this January. While he was in St. Louis, Wiley went to north St. Louis and Ferguson to meet with people and find subjects for his own paintings. Kehinde Wiley: Saint Louis is an exhibition of everyday black St. Louisans dressed in modern clothing, posed in the manner of kings, statesmen and other powerful figures.
Givable Volunteer Opportunities
- Through Give Back Box you can pack up clothes, household items, games or other items you no longer need, and Give Back Box provides a prepaid shipping label so you can ship the items to Goodwill at no charge.
- Would you like to volunteer from the comfort of your computer? You can help people around the world. Missing Maps is an open, collaborative project in which you can help to map areas where humanitarian organizations are trying to meet the needs of vulnerable people.
